Private Office Asset Management’s Partnership with AFC Wimbledon
After many discussions and AFC Wimbledon carrying our their due diligence process on us as a firm, we were delighted to accept the opportunity of becoming AFC Wimbledon’s “Official and Exclusive Wealth Manager”, where we became the first company in the football club’s history to be their official and recommended Independent Financial Adviser & Investment Manager for the football club’s Board of Director’s, their staff, their fanbase, the AFC Wimbledon’s Men’s and Women’s first team playing staff, and management & coaching staff, and to the other main Partners and Sponsors of the Football Club.
This is an honour we are obviously very proud to have been offered, and which we take very seriously indeed. We work very hard to provide the support, free matchday advice clinics and all associated and ongoing services to everyone associated with AFC Wimbledon.
Private Office Asset Management’s Partnership with AFC Wimbledon: 2024/2025
The 2024/2025 Season was our first season with AFC Wimbledon as their official and exclusive wealth manager.
We took up the opportunity to feature on the front of shirts for all of the men’s first team Training Kits. Training wear for their many attendances at local community events, and across the Training Ground. We attended some training sessions, met the team and management & coaching staff and attended many games in their famous Legends Lounge, the football club’s main corporate hospitality venue, which at the time was in Partnership with Tattinger Champagne. We said at our first attendance that we would like to take over the Partnership with AFC Wimbledon for their Legends Lounge, as we dined with some of our clients and other guests pre-match and enjoyed the best seats in the ground to watch the game.
Our first season with AFC Wimbledon was a very successful one for both our firm, and for the football club, with the men’s first team securing their place at the Wembley Play-Off Final against Walsall FC
We were honoured to attend the final with AFC Wimbledon in the prestigious Bobby Moore suite, with seats just behind AFC Wimbledon Manager Johnnie Jackson and his coaching staff. Despite Walsall being clear front runners at Christmas with a huge positive points and goals scored gap and looking certainties for promotion, Myles Hippolyte’s excellent first have strike from outside the box, saw AFC Wimbledon promoted to the EFL’s First Division, much to the delight of the majority of Wembley, which was largely packed with AFC Wimbledon’s now jubilant fans. The partners and sponsors section was equally delighted with the result and the performance, and of course the hard-earned promotion to the First Division. Everyone connected to AFC Wimbledon was now looking forward to the next Season in Division 1, 2025/2026…..
Private Office Asset Management’s Partnership with AFC Wimbledon: 2025/2026
The 2025/2026 Season was our second season with AFC Wimbledon as their official and exclusive wealth manager.
With AFC Wimbledon’s euphoric promotion to the First Division via the Wembley Play-Off Final victory over Walsall still fresh in the minds of all connected with the football club, Private Office Asset Management were invited to travel out with the first team and coaching staff to the men’s pre-season tour in Marbella. As a firm, we were particularly excited to attend because the men’s first team were going to be wearing their iconic yellow kit for the first time, during the pre-season tour in Marbella, which had been designed by prestigious Italian football shirt maker Lotto, and we as a firm had taken up the opportunity to move from the Training Kit, to have our company branding front of shirt for the men’s first team’s yellow away kit.
We attended the main match in the Marbella Stadium against Pafos, the Cypriot Champions who had qualified for the Champions League group stage. Their team boasted Brazilian centre back David Luiz, formerly of Chelsea and current Champions league winners Paris St. Germain. AFC Wimbledon battled hard, in our yellow shirts, to gain a very credible 2-2 draw with Pafos, with Matty Stevens heading the equaliser right at the end of the match.
During the pre-season tour, Sebastian and Phil, as well as attending the match v Pafos, attended the training sessions and the fan-greet evening at the team hotel and also enjoyed some nights out taking in the exuberant Marbella nightlife!
During the 2025/2026 Season, Private Office Asset Management attended matches with clients and other guests in the Tattinger Champagne -sponsored Legends Lounge, and held financial clinics at the stadium on matchdays for fans and staff.
We also attended some Training Ground Sessions and presented to the men’s first team and coaching staff at the Training Ground and received some excellent feedback and moved forwards with providing advice to players and staff. We attended the Boardroom and presented our services to all Directors and Board Members, and we were also invited to attend the boardroom on 2 occasions during the 2025/2026 campaign to watch matches, which was most enjoyable, and appreciated.
The 2025/2026 Season ended very well, with AFC Wimbledon, despite having the second lowest playing budget in Division One, managed to stay in the Division with some impressive results at the end of the season when it mattered, having achieved as high a placing as second in the league during the early stages of the season.
At the end of the Season, Phil and Sebastian were invited to play on the hallowed ground of the Plough Lane pitch in the end of season Partners match. Both Phil and Sebastian took penalties in the shoot-out with the game having finished as a draw. Proud for our team to be wearing our own yellow kits, we finished on the winning side, another triumph for us as a firm!
Private Office Asset Management’s Partnership with AFC Wimbledon: 2026/2027
The 2026/2027 Season is our third season with AFC Wimbledon as their official and exclusive wealth manager.
Having been front of shirt branding in Season One on the men’s first team Training Kit and Training wear which sold very well in the AFC Wimbledon’s retail range both in the club shop at Plough Lane and online, and having enjoyed even more success in our second season with our iconic yellow kits selling even more in the club-shop and online, we opted to be the first ever sponsors with front of shirt branding, on the first ever bespoke football kit designed for and made for the AFC Wimbledon’s Women’s first team for the 2026/2027 Season.
The kit had a very successful “Reveal launch” in the area’s famous lavender fields, and has been very well received as perhaps the most high fashion kit in the football club’s history. In the 2026/2027 Season, we are looking forward to continuing our work with the men’s first team and coaching staff, and to also working with the Women’s first team and coaching staff, both providing any advice that we can, and to assisting in their development where possible.
We are pleased to confirm that we have already received a number of enquiries via our website from AFC Wimbledon fans, and to add to that, we are looking forward to carrying on hosting “Financial Clinics” at the Cherry Red Records Stadium at Plough Lane, and have booked in the following dates for staff and fans to book their 20-minute introductory appointment with us in the 1889 Lounge prior to kick-off:

We are also delighted to confirm, that clients can request to attend some matches with us, and enjoy some top matchday corporate hospitality in the Legend’s Lounge, which is now no longer in Partnership with Tattinger Champage, we are delighted to have secured the Legends Lounge as part of Private Office Asset Management’s additional Partnership agreement with the football club, with our branding across the Legends Lounge, and featured on the front of all 100 to 120 corporate hospitality attendees lanyards with our services and website featured on the back of the lanyards. This has been a key strategic objective of ours since becoming the official and Exclusive Wealth Management Partner of AFC Wimbledon three seasons ago, and we are genuinely delighted and excited to have achieved this Partnership status at the Football Club.
