Private Office Asset Management are delighted to welcome Mark Beard to the team.  Mark has a very impressive CV in professional football, both as a player and a manager / coach. He has also created Elite training programmes with the aim of producing a higher level of sporting performance with notable success.

Mark’s playing career started at a Football club very close to our hearts at Private Office, – Millwall FC.  Making his debut at 18 he went on to captain the club and made a total of 152 appearances for the Lions, scoring that memorable first goal in Millwall’s famous 2-0 victory at Arsenal in the FA Cup in 1995, playing in Millwall’s victory at Chelsea in the next round and in every game in a run that saw the Lion progress to the last 16 of the FA Cup that memorable year.

Mark went on to play 56 times for Sheffield United, 137 appearances for Southend United where he was Club Captain, and amongst other notable football clubs, mark also played for AFC Wimbledon in their promotion winning side in 2008.

Having also played for San Pedro in Spain, Mark’s first managerial role was with the Andalucian side.  Mark went on to become Crawley town’s Under 18’s Manager, Under 18’s manager at Brighton & Hove Albion, Assistant manager at Stockport County, head Coach at Dorking Wanderers and First Team manager at Eastbourne Borough Football Club.

Mark will assist Phil Simmonds in leading the effort to maximise the opportunity for both Private Office Asset Management and for AFC Wimbledon in their Partnership, where Private Office Asset Management have been appointed the Official and Exclusive Wealth Managers to AFC Wimbledon.  Mark will also be assisting with the relationship Private Office Asset management has with Eastleigh Football Club, and will be facilitating various football related relationships and introductions to the firm.
